Life in the rainforest is easy. Strolling around, you look for berries to eat. You don’t need to pick the first berries you stumble upon. Let’s wait and see what you find!
You relax and admire the view.
Moving across the desert is dangerous. You crouch down to protect your last cup of water. Spilling a single drop is a catastrophe. Dropping the cup means certain death. You brace yourself and take one careful step after the other.
As you glance at the long desert path ahead of you, you feel immensely tired. Why did you ever leave the rainforest? Your cup is slowly running out. You’re feeling tired and impotent, shackled by your need for survival.
Suddenly, you feel more awake. You put the cup down and take a deep breath. As you stand up and take a look around, you see lush greens and berries all around. You never left the rainforest.
You live in a rainforest, not a desert.
